We look forward to being Your Trusted Choice for Child Care in Telluride, Colorado.
Our Mission is to provide premier service through fun and safe activities; leaving lasting memories for your children and family to return to Telluride, CO.

Hi! My name is Jack McGarvey and I am a 23 year old college grad. I recently moved to Telluride to work on the mountain for the winter season. I am an avid outdoorsman, musician, film nerd, and book worm. I enjoy working with kids in any capacity- I have served as a lifeguard for over ten years now teaching children of all ages how to swim, and I helped run an enrichment program for at-risk boys while I was a student at Colorado College. At the moment, I am interested in pursuing a career either in law or in education, however I find myself leaning more towards teaching as I believe working and interacting with younger generations is incredibly important. I work best with kids 5 and up. Looking forward to meeting you and your family!

Nonie M.

I am a New Zealander who has lived in the US for 40 years. I began a general nursing program at Auckland Hospital after high school and absolutely loved working in the children’s wards. I came to the US with my ex-husband who did post-doctoral research at Stanford University in California. I completed a degree in Sociology/Psychology and Anthropology at UCLA with the intention of working with children. However after a sabbatical in Grenoble, France, I fell in love with the mountains and skiing and moved to Aspen where I taught skiing for almost 20 years (both children and adults). I also spent several years working in the Aspen Montessori School. Children bring a smile to my face and I am so enjoying looking after the little ones again. Ages infancy through preschool
Alyssa S

Alyssa S

Hello! My name is Alyssa Serignese and I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I moved to Telluride with
plans of just staying for the winter, and here I am two years later falling more in love with this place
each day. I have lived and studied in Italy and graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in
Marketing in 2013 and currently work at the Telluride Tourism Board as a Marketing Administrator and
Destination Concierge. In my spare time I enjoy skydiving (yes jumping out a plane on purpose!), skiing,
yoga and anything that involves the outdoors. This past summer, I traveled to Peru and completed the
55-mile trek to Machu Picchu which was a life changer. I come from a large (and loud) Italian family and
have been babysitting and involved in child care for about 10 years. I love being outdoors with children
and exploring the area, but I also think its very important to get them using their creative sides through
puzzles, arts and crafts, drawing and more! Every child is unique and I love catering to all of their
different personalities and needs. I look forward to meeting your family! Ages: Infancy & up.
Ariana G. Hi, I’m Ariana and I just moved to Telluride from NY this summer! I just finished up a term with AmeriCorps working with individuals with developmental disabilities and moved out here with my husband for a nice change of pace. I’m currently studying to get into grad school where I will be studying clinical psychology. I love being outside and when I’m not working you can usually find me hiking around or reading! During the winter I also love to figure skate and am planning on learning how to snowboard. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your family! Ages infancy onward

Mareya B.

My name is Mareya (pronounced muh-ray-uh). Don’t worry, I’m used to people saying my name wrong! This is my second winter in Telluride. I work for the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program and love it! Helping people with disabilities to ski is something I’m very passionate about. In the summers I work for Outward Bound taking teenagers and adults into the wilderness on backpacking, climbing, and mountaineering trips. Over the past four years with Outward Bound and various adaptive sports programs I have gained a lot of experience working with youth of various ages. What I enjoy most about my work is the character development that comes from people pushing their limits and taking time to reflect in the wilderness. I have my Wilderness First Responder and CPR certifications. In my free time I love to ski and snowboard, rock climb, dance, knit, read, and cook. I’m looking forward to meeting your children and having a great time with them!
My name is Shelby Sipperly and I’m brand new to Telluride this season. I’m so excited to be here! A little about me: I’m 24 years old and have been caring for children of all ages since I was around 13. I love kids, and try to form genuine bonds with each one I care for, no matter the age or disposition. My interests include hiking, skiing (though I’m not very good!), reading, writing, travelling (I just got back from spending a year in Australia), and enjoying this beautiful town we are lucky enough to be in. I am eager to be able to meet families new and old to Telluride this season and to engage with your kiddos!
