I am 24 years old from Olympia, Washington and went to Washington State University to get my Biology degree. I have been babysitting since I was 14 and love hanging out with kiddos! After college I went to Thailand for a year to teach English Kindergarten and did tutoring for kids of all ages. I ended up loving teaching and would like to extend that experience into children’s environmental education someday. Even though I enjoy the Pacific Northwest, I needed to see why everyone loves Colorado and moved to Durango to work with the Southwest Conservation Corps doing seasonal trail work. I currently work at the Telluride Ski Resort and I’m excited to be in such a beautiful place for the winter!

Molly M

Hi, my name is Molly and I just moved to Telluride from Houston, Texas to be a children’s ski instructor! I graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder this past May with a degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences, and I’m hoping to pursue a masters in Speech Pathology after my time in Telluride. I have a great passion for kids and have been fortunate enough to have had two internships working with both children and adults with a variety of disabilities. This is a community that I love to work with and hope to continue in the future as a professional. I also have a huge passion for the outdoors, especially skiing and snowboarding, which is why I am here in Telluride! It already feels like home here and I am loving the community and relationships that really make up the heart of this town. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your family! Ages infancy onward

Lindsey G

My name is Lindsey Greer and I am from the mitten state (Michigan). I moved to Telluride this past summer when offered a job as a Kids Camp Counselor at Eco Adventures. I instantly fell in love with San Juan mountains and Telluride culture, so here I am again, back for the winter season. Between my mom’s at home daycare and my many cousins, I have grown up around children and have developed a love and passion for working with them. In college I earned an associates degree, played softball, was the softball team captain, was a math and biology tutor, and volunteered at Helen Devos Children’s Hospital. My many sports and hobbies over the years have included softball, basketball, cross country, swimming, scrapbooking, jewelry and home decoration making, snowboarding, rock climbing, camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing. I love taking kids outdoors but also like exploring their creativity through indoor games and arts and crafts. I have worked with infants all the way to teenagers but feel I work best with 4 to 12 year olds. Can’t wait to meet some amazing kiddos and families this winter.

Kaitlyn S.

Hello! My name is Kaitlyn. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and after graduating from college in Iowa I came to explore the West. I lived in Nevada then Washington and finally ended up in Telluride to teach ski lessons. I love being around children of all ages and learning from them and how they see the world. I am working as an assistant preschool teacher this summer and I am excited to explore the beautiful outdoors of Colorado. Ages mid-infancy onward

Adrienne R

My name is Adrienne Ross. I was raised in Colorado Springs. During college I left for a stint in the northwest but missed my family, sunshine and champagne powder. I moved to Telluride two years ago because I was lucky enough to get a job working for the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program. Working with people with disabilities is my passion. Whether it’s skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, climbing, hiking or paddling, I love sharing the thrill of the outdoors with people who otherwise might not experience it. I am a certified Wilderness First Responder, as well as CPR/First Aid Certified. In my free time you will find me doing any of the above activities, playing guitar, traveling or reading a good book. I’m so excited to meet your awesome family and take your kids on all kinds of adventures around Telluride! Ages mid-infancy onward

Hi I’m Katie, from St Augustine, FL, but recently moved to Telluride to start a new adventure! I have over 18 years of childcare experience. My passion is children, I love to play with them and teach them new things. I was a nanny for 3 years to twin boys. We grew a tight bond together. In Florida I ran my own business caring for kids and pets. I enjoyed it very much, but my dream was to move to a small mountain town in Colorado. I was stoked when I got offered a job at Mountain Munchkins Daycare. I’ve been working there since June 2017 as a childcare assistant. I’m super happy here and love all the kids I care for. On my off days, I enjoy hiking, camping, and Jeeping. I’m looking forward to meeting your family in my new hometown! Ages infancy onward
Pam F. I have lived in the Rocky Mountain and Intermountain west for over 40 years, and returned to Colorado in 2012. I have worked in the outdoors as a ski instructor and river guide, and as an RN for many years in all kinds of settings. I love spending time in the mountains and the desert canyons we are so lucky to have in our backyard, hiking, biking, skiing, and sometimes just sitting to watch the sunset. I like to introduce kids to the outdoors in whatever way is available and suitable at the time, and help them explore, learn, and have fun in this beautiful setting. I hope you have a wonderful time here in the San Juans, and look forward to taking great care of your children. Ages infancy onward. Pam F.

Shannon C.

Hello my name is Shannon and I am a Colorado native, born in Carbondale. I grew up with nature at my doorstep and love to be out in it. I have been skiing, boating and biking since I was very little. I moved to Telluride in 2014 after traveling in South America and South East Asia. I always have had an affinity towards children and started babysitting from a young age of 11. Soon after my neighbors had twins and I was more than excited to help take care of them and watch them grow. I have always loved taking care of kids and have volunteered with children all over the world. I have been a nanny, a babysitter, and a friend to the children all of my life. I studied Sociology and Gender Studies at the University of Denver, which has given me an interesting perspective on the lives and habits of children. When I am not babysitting you can find my on the mountain skiing, in the rivers kayaking, or at my sewing machine making clothes and costumes.
