Nonie M.

I am a New Zealander who has lived in the US for 40 years. I began a general nursing program at Auckland Hospital after high school and absolutely loved working in the children’s wards. I came to the US with my ex-husband who did post-doctoral research at Stanford University in California. I completed a degree in Sociology/Psychology and Anthropology at UCLA with the intention of working with children. However after a sabbatical in Grenoble, France, I fell in love with the mountains and skiing and moved to Aspen where I taught skiing for almost 20 years (both children and adults). I also spent several years working in the Aspen Montessori School. Children bring a smile to my face and I am so enjoying looking after the little ones again.

Adrienne R

My name is Adrienne Ross. I was raised in Colorado Springs. During college I left for a stint in the northwest but missed my family, sunshine and champagne powder. I moved to Telluride two years ago because I was lucky enough to get a job working for the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program. Working with people with disabilities is my passion. Whether it’s skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, climbing, hiking or paddling, I love sharing the thrill of the outdoors with people who otherwise might not experience it. I am a certified Wilderness First Responder, as well as CPR/First Aid Certified. In my free time you will find me doing any of the above activities, playing guitar, traveling or reading a good book. I’m so excited to meet your awesome family and take your kids on all kinds of adventures around Telluride!

Camila Vizzoco

Camila Vizzoco

Hello, I’m Camila, I was born in Argentina and grew up in Miami. I came to Telluride 2 years ago for a weekend and loved it so much that I ended up moving here. Growing up my mom had a daycare and was a swimming teacher so I grew up with kids around me and by the time I was
in high school I was teaching kids to swim. I am now entering my third season in ski school teaching the young ones to ski! I love being around kids, playing with them and teaching them new activities. I hope to meet you soon!

Shannon C.

Hello my name is Shannon and I am a Colorado native, born in Carbondale. I grew up with nature at my doorstep and love to be out in it. I have been skiing, boating and biking since I was very little. I moved to Telluride in 2014 after traveling in South America and South East Asia. I always have had an affinity towards children and started babysitting from a young age of 11. Soon after my neighbors had twins and I was more than excited to help take care of them and watch them grow. I have always loved taking care of kids and have volunteered with children all over the world. I have been a nanny, a babysitter, and a friend to the children all of my life. I studied Sociology and Gender Studies at the University of Denver, which has given me an interesting perspective on the lives and habits of children. When I am not babysitting you can find my on the mountain skiing, in the rivers kayaking, or at my sewing machine making clothes and costumes.
